WHAT’S IN THIS FILE


KNOWN FUNCTIONALITY

This release of PGP Command Line v 6.5 includes the following functionality.  However, not all of the switches
are listed here in the summary.  For a complete listing please refer to the accompanying documentation.

To display all of the encryption and decryption options
                     pgp -h

To display all of the key management options
                     pgp -k

To display all of the group management options
                     pgp -g

KNOWN ISSUES
 

  1. The pgp -kv command does not identify the default key.
  2. The BATCHMODE flag is not supported when used with a UNIX-style filter.
  3. When the INTERACTIVE option is set to "off" in the pgp.cfg file, there is no error checking for user input.
  4. The -m and -w options cannot be used together (pgp -mw <file>). Use pgp -m first.
  5. The functionality to preserve a signature from within an encrypted file is not available at this release of the code.
  6. The ability to use the +makerandom feature is not supported in this release of the code
