1. Introduction

1.1 Changes

• File dialog navigation implemented
• Double clicking now launches a game
• Display the current directory in the status bar
• Corrected bug in launching a directory as it were a game
• Profiling of options

• Corrected bug of not loading filenames with spaces (Thanks to Chad Austin for this one!)
• This help file is now build under ksgml2html, which makes it have the same look of all the KDE help files.

1.2 TO DO

Here is the list of the current priorities in the KSnes9x development. If you want to remove any of this ideas or want to add a new one, just drop me a mail!

• Cheat database, allowing you to select various cheat codes to a varied range of games
• Joystick configuration (I really need help with this... any volunteer?)
• Support for the netplay options of snes9x
• Logging of the time you spend playing

1.3 Notes

KSnes9x was built when I was using snes9x 1.26. Earlier or later versions of the emulator may have conflicts whith some of the options of KSnes9x. If this is the case, send me a mail at perdig@linuxbr.com.br and I will correct the problem.

1.4 How to help me

If you want to help KSnes9x, there a lots of things you can do:

I need a nice icon to the program, but I'm no artist (The current icon is horrible, but it was the best I could do).

English isn't my first language, so there should be lots of gramatic/spelling mistakes in the program files... if someone finds any, please mail me!

My first language is portuguese, as I'm Brazilian, but I can't translate all the program files (especially the name of some snes9x options). If you are interested in translating KSnes9x to portuguese, please mail me and I will tell you how.

And if you want to translate KSnes9x to your language, just mail me and I will tell you how to do that

And last but not least, just use the program as much as you want and send me a mail if you have any suggestion, complain or bug report!
